On Saturday, 32 children from Year 5 – 8 enjoyed a feast of international cricket at Lord’s where England were playing Sri Lanka on the 3rd Day of the test match. They saw some of the world’s best players in action; Stuart Broad and James Anderson were in fine form, taking two wickets apiece. Other highlights included several trips to the Lord’s shop (cricket ball sales must have gone through the roof on Saturday!), having a go (and winning a prize!) on the Crazy Catch and meeting many famous faces for autographs. It was a day the children will remember – thank you to Mr Mitchell, Mr Roberts, Mr Wilson and Mr Wright for accompanying them on the trip.
