“Out of this world!” – “We’ll never forget this experience”
This morning, the Year 8 students who took part in our inaugural exchange with Pembroke House School, Kenya led an assembly to share their experiences from what was a truly remarkable trip. From camel safaris to climbing the extinct volcano, Mount Longonot, the ten children who made the journey created memories for a lifetime, in addition to strengthening their independence, collaboration and communication skills.
In parallel, St George’s hosted 12 students from Pembroke House who enjoyed trips to the Tower of London, a Harlequins rugby match and The Globe Theatre, as well as benefitting from the school’s close ties with Windsor Castle with a trip to the Royal Mews.
