A huge thank you to the St George’s Parent Group who announced this week that this year’s Family Day raised the incedible sum of £11,500!

The Group shared the following message:

THANK YOU to all the parents and families at St George’s for supporting this annual event. Thank you also to the grounds team and faculty who support us with their time on event days.

This is the largest amount ever raised at a PG event and we are very proud of the Group for all its efforts.

The funds that have been raised will go into the PG Fundraising Account that is shared with the Second-Hand Uniform profits for the entire academic year 2022-2023.

At the end of the year the PG will donate a percentage to their chosen charity for the year, Daisy’s Dream, with the remaining funds being donated to St Georges School for large scale projects such as the Jubilee Garden and the development of the boarding houses.

Many thanks to the members of the Parents Group who worked so hard on this event and have many more exciting and fun ideas for the coming terms!

Next PG Event: February: Pub Quiz & Dinner in the Dining Room – details to follow soon!
