On Monday the Victoria Hall was transformed into a market place in Ancient Egypt. Dressed in amazing costumes, the children in Year 3 were table to experience just what it was like to live as an Egyptian in that era. In the morning they learnt various crafts such as making lamps with olive oil, writing on papyrus using hieroglyphics and making canoptic jars. In the afternoon they experienced an Egyptian banquet. It was a day they will never forget!
