Every Thursday St George’s Young Leaders meet to look at different aspects of leadership and how it can impact on a local, national and international level, and how they can make a difference. The course is run by the Archbishop of York’s Trust and the children have followed set sessions. This week they led a coffee morning at the KIng George VI Day Centre in Windsor where they were given a warm welcome. They made tea and coffee, served biscuits and cakes and chatted with the guests. Some of the children then joined the Chamber Choir to sing some Christmas carols. Future plans for the programme include more community projects including fundraising for a community defibrillator.
