We work closely with the Sodexo catering team to offer a healthy and balanced menu each day.
Our menu, including breakfast and supper as well as lunch, follows a three week cycle which is changed termly. At lunchtime two main course options are always available as well as a vegetarian option, hot soup and a salad bar.
A themed lunch is organised each half term, with the Pupil Council contributing ideas regularly, and the dining room, and sometimes the catering staff, decorated to match the food. Such occasions have included Chinese New Year, Halloween and St Patrick’s Day.
Staff dine with the pupils and all are encouraged to try new foods and display good table manners.
Snacks are provided at morning break and at 4pm for those staying for after school activities. On fixtures days, match teas are served – in the dining room, on the Head Master’s terrace or for some sports in the summer, on the sports fields.
All of our meat is sourced fresh from British and Irish farms and all of our fish and seafood is Marine Stewardship Council certified and Responsible Irish fish.Independents by Sodexo.
